More storms this afternoon

Good morning to all! A batch of showers and thunderstorms moved through our state last night. No severe weather was reported with any of these storms. We are dry and sunny right now. The question is how long will we stay sunny and how will the atmosphere destabilize in that time? Another round of showers and storms will move through central Arkansas this afternoon. If we get enough heating and atmospheric destabilization, the chance for stronger to isolated severe storms is possible. It will be something worth watching throughout the day. After the storms push out this afternoon, cooler and drier air will filter in. Expect temps tonight in the lower 30's. Highs will be back in the 70's by Saturday!
